National Institute of Technology Calicut
NIT Calicut (NITC) is one of 31 institutions of national importance under the NIT Act, 2007, fully funded by the Government of India. Established in 1961 as a Regional Engineering College, it was rebranded in 2002, expanding its focus on research in Engineering, Science, Technology, and Management. The institute offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs, fostering academic excellence through research and industry collaboration. Located at the foothills of the Western Ghats, its 120-hectare residential campus supports over 6,500 students. NITC has seen significant growth in research, particularly in publications and patents. It was ranked 23rd among the top technical institutions and 3rd in architecture in 2020. Despite challenges like limited industrial support, the institute produces highly employable graduates and impactful research. The transformation of RECs into NITs aimed to enhance technical education and research nationwide. NITC plays a key role in the regional development of Malabar, aligning with its eco-friendly growth model. Supported by the government of India and alumni, NITC remains dedicated to achieving global academic excellence.

Bharatiya Paramparik Gyan Vigyan Samaj (BPGVS) is a national consortium of scholars and visionaries committed to reviving and integrating Bharatiya Traditional Knowledge into contemporary society. This wisdom fosters boundless thinking, seamlessly blending ancient insights with modern paradigms. Rooted in sanātana-dharma, BPGVS upholds the tradition of knowledge acquisition, preservation, and transmission. It nurtures young minds by stimulating creativity, critical thinking, and holistic development. Additionally, BPGVS empowers indigenous communities by preserving their traditional practices, fostering entrepreneurship, and establishing self-help groups, thereby strengthening a self-reliant, knowledge-driven society anchored in Bharatiya wisdom.
Second International Conference on Bharatiya Traditional Knowledge Systems (BTKS) 2025
The conference intends to promote dialogues on Bharat's multidimensional traditional knowledge systems and integrate them into contemporary society. The conference serves as a platform for scholars, researchers, practitioners, and academicians to engage in discussions on various aspects of Bharatiya traditional wisdom, encompassing fields such as Ayurveda, Yoga, Vedic mathematics, architecture, indigenous sciences, philosophy, arts, linguistics, and sustainable living practices.
